There is normally great scope for watersports on the Red Sea coast, including swimming, diving on coral reefs and fishing for barracuda, sharks and grey cod. Wildlife enthusiasts may head to the Dinder National Park while visitors interested in archaeology will find much of interest in the region north of Khartoum (see Resorts & Excursions section).
