Standards for Bed & Breakfast and Country Inn accommodation are overseen by the Bed & Breakfast and Country Inns Association.
Owners of accommodation in Prince Edward Island are invited to participate in the Canada Select Rating Program. Participation
in the grading system is voluntary. The star ratings are based on the extent of facilities, quality of facilities, extent
of services and amenities, ranging from 5-star (exceptional) to 1-star (basic).
