How to make a reservation?

Amadeus.net provides you with access to online travel agencies/ airlines that use Amadeus online booking engine technology to allow you to make travel reservations online. Through Amadeus.net you will be able to search one of these agencies/ airlines in any country in the world where there are travel agencies /airlines associated with Amadeus.net. The whole amadeus.net reservation system is based on the state-of-the-art booking engine technology of Amadeus and enables its partners to offer a performant online booking service to the travellers. Note that all the details of your reservation (ticket handling, reservation changes, cancellations,etc.) are handled by the travel agent/airline you made the online reservation with. Please make sure to always take good note of the contact details of the agency/airline you chose to make your reservation with as well as to always print the reservation confirmation code and details page.

How do I sign up with an online travel agency in amadeus.net?

Enter the amadeus.net website.Click on the "Partner Sites" button. Choose "Travel Agency Partners" and then your country to find a travel agency.

  1. In the country page, choose an agency from the list of travel partners or enter your city in the upper box to find a local travel agency (all agencies available in that city will appear; select one from the list).
  2. In the agency's entry page, click on "New User".
  3. Provide the information requested and choose your traveller ID and password at the bottom of the page.
    (REMEMBER: You will need your ID and password for other reservations or consultations) .
  4. Click on the "Save Profile" button.
  5. You now have a personal traveller ID and password with the travel agency of your choice.

How do I make a reservation?

Enter the amadeus.net website. Click on the "Partner Sites" button. Choose "Travel Agency Partners", then your country and enter your travel agency with your travel ID and password if existing. Otherwise, create a user profile (see: "How do I sign up with an online travel agency in amadeus.net?)

  1. In the "Bookings" page, select Flight (default), Hotel or Car
  2. reservation
  3. Enter the departure, destination and travel dates
  4. information. Click on "Search"
  5. Select the combination which suits you best from the list of alternatives and choose your fare and class preferences.
  6. Click on "Select" to see the price of your selection
  7. Click on "Continue"
  8. to add your selection to the trip plan
  9. You can go on adding on more travel options (more flights, hotels, cars) following steps 2 to 7. Once you completed your travel arrangements, click on "Confirm"
  10. Select your preferences
  11. Click on "Confirm"
  12. CONGRATULATIONS! You have made your reservation
  13. BE CAREFUL NOT TO FORGET!!:

    1. To print the last page, before confirming the reservation, where all your trip and fares are detailed and the reservation confirmation code page.
    2. To write down your reservation number and all the details of your travel agent (phone number, e-mail address) as you will need to contact them in case you wish to make a change or cancel the reservation.
    3. To carefully choose the way you want to pick up the tickets. Some travel agencies offer the option of sending the tickets by mail. If you cannot pick up the tickets personally at one of your travel agent's offices, please contact them directly to check on other possible delivery options. Be aware that you are normally granted 72 hours after you made the reservation to pick up the tickets before your reservation is automatically cancelled.

     

How can I make changes to my reservation?

Your travel reservation change requests can only be handled by the travel agency you made the booking with. Please contact them for any change you wish to make. Please always remember to keep the travel agency contact details in case you need to contact them for changes in your reservation.

Can I cancel my reservation?

Of course, you can. The cancellation process can be different depending on the travel agency rules for cancellation, however these are two of the most accepted procedures to cancel your reservation:

  1. At the end of the booking process, in the last page when you have confirmed your booking and you have received a confirmation number, you can cancel the reservation by clicking on "Cancel the reservation" on the left-hand side at the bottom of the page.
  2. If you have to cancel the reservation later, you will have to log in to the online travel agency you made the reservation with, and click on "Cancel an existing reservation" on the left-hand side at the bottom of the page, then enter where asked the confirmation number of the reservation you wish to cancel.
  3. Note: Some agencies do not allow online cancellation. Please contact them directly for cancellations.

Can I book and buy travel for another person than myself?

Some agencies may allow the traveller to be a different person from the credit card holder. Nonetheless, we advise you to contact your travel agent to be sure that your agency allows this possibility. In case it does allow such possibility, you would need to log a profile with the data of person who will travel and include in the credit card section the personal credit card name and data of the credit card holder.

I forgot my password/traveller ID, what do I do?

Your profile data is handled by and stored under the online reservation system of the travel agency you signed up with. The easiest solution is to create a new profile including a new traveller ID and password. But you can also contact your travel agency for more information.

Can I send a request via e-mail to make my travel arrangements?

Amadeus.net provides you with online access to your travel agency. We provide a unique travel reservation system that allows you to process all your travel arrangements online, therefore there is no need for you to send e-mail requests as you can make your reservation at your convenience in real time.
The amadeus.net webmaster cannot process specific travel arrangements. If you need more information for your travel arrangements, please contact your travel agent.

 

Is my personal and private data securely handled?

Is my credit card information secure?

Amadeus.net provides you with the industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology that encrypts any information that is transferred across the Internet from your computer to the amadeus.net server. This makes your credit card information as secure as possible.

What is SSL?

Amadeus.net uses SSL (Secured Sockets Layer) for secure transmissions. SSL applies encryption to provide confidentiality between your PC and the amadeus.net server. The definition of encryption is: "… a process for scrambling data to prevent illicit entry into a system… or interception of information as it travels over the network." That's why you must use an SSL enabled browser to make a reservation with amadeus.net. When your data is transmitted over the Internet, it is encrypted at the sending end and then decrypted at the receiving end. All information is kept on a secure server and is protected by a firewall. As an added precaution, the firewall is monitored for security breach attempts.

How do I know if the connection is secure?

The common standard in the Internet to signal a secure site is a closed lock at the bottom of the browser. As long as the lock is displayed closed your information is secure and encrypted to avoid abuse. If you click the secure transaction link and still cannot see the closed lock, the reason may be that the window in nested in another frame. To make sure you are under a secure connection, right-click on the central part of the window and choose "Properties" (IExplorer) or "Open in a new window" (Netscape). There you can see if the connection is secure or not by checking that the URL starts with https://...

 

How can I change/delete my profile?

How can I change my profile?

In order to change or update your profile you should:

  1. Sign in using your traveller ID and password
  2. Click on the top tab "My Profile"
  3. Change/Update your profile

  4. NOTE: You will not be able to change your travel agency. To change your travel agency please see: "How do I change Travel Agencies"
  5. Save the profile.

How can I delete my profile?

Your profile data is handled by and stored under the online reservation system of the travel agency you signed up with and not under amadeus.net directly. Therefore, you need to contact travel agency you signed up with to have your profile deleted.

 

Tickets


How are the tickets delivered?

There are normally two options:
  1. The tickets are sent to your address
  2. You can pick the tickets up at your travel agency

At the end of the sign-up process, you choose whether you prefer to have the tickets sent to you, or if you want to pick them up at the travel agency office address detailed during the reservation.
You can also change your preferences when you enter with your traveller ID and password and go to "My Profile" where you can change the delivery options at the end of the page.

Note: Some agencies may decide to allow other delivery options.

Can I pick up my tickets at the airport?

This depends on the travel agent ticket delivery option (the one you choose when you register).
If you decided to have the ticket delivered to your home you will not be able to pick it up at the airport. Please contact your travel agent for more information.

If there is a problem with my ticket, who should I contact?

All the questions concerning tickets should be addressed to the travel agency who handled your reservation: all questions concerning tickets and billing. Please have your reservation number at hand to facilitate the inquiry. Please do not forget to print the reservation confirmation page where the reservation confirmation code is shown.

I cannot find a travel agency in my country!

If your country is not listed in the drop down menu on the "Find" page, then unfortunately there is no travel agency that is using Amadeus travel reservation booking engine technology in that country.

How does my travel agency know how to send me the ticket?

Because at the end of the reservation process, the online travel agent ask you to choose whether you prefer to have the tickets sent to you or if you want to pick them up at the office of your travel agency.
You can also change your preferences when you enter with your traveller ID and password and go to "My Profile" where you can change the delivery options at the end of the page.

How do I change Travel Agencies?

In order to change to a new travel agency you will have to create a new profile, as your profile data is logged with the individual travel agency.

 

Price


How can I find the lowest price available?
The price you will see is the lowest travel provider published price available in Amadeus, for the selected class, date and carrier. In order to make sure that you really find the cheapest price follow these rules:
  • The cheapest price option will always be found in the Economy restricted class!
  • Stay a Saturday night!
  • Buy well in advance!
  • Use the same airline for all flight segments!
  • Pick the least busy days (currently Tuesday, Wednesday)
  • Avoid holiday seasons!
Where do I find information about the price without sign-up?

At the moment you can find price information without signing up following these steps:

Enter amadeus.net.

  1. Click on the "
  2. Partner Sites" button. Choose "Travel Agency Partners".
  3. Select a country and find a travel agency
  4. .
  5. Find a travel agency in your city and click on "Select" or choose one of our travel partners.
  6. Click on "New User". At this stage you do not need to fill out the registration form
  7. .
  8. On the top of the page press "Availability"
  9. .
  10. Select Flight (default), Hotel or Car
  11. reservation.
  12. Enter the departure, destination and travel dates
  13. information
  14. Select the combination which suits you best from the list of alternatives and choose your fare and class preferences.
  15. Click on "Select" to see the price of your selection

Can I see the flight fare in another currency?

Yes, once you have chosen your flight and clicked on Select, you are sent to the Flight Itinerary section where you can:
Choose currency then press the "Convert" button. Your flight will also be displayed in the selected currency.
