Good hotels can be found in Addis Ababa and other main centres, although they tend to be better in the north than in the south. Some offer facilities for small exhibitions and conferences. There are hotels in the other larger towns; prices are, in general, slightly lower than those in the main centres. There is a 5 to 10% service charge.
